Candidates joining Manlube will be part of a company focused on technical excellence, customer service, and continuous expansion in the Egyptian market.Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Technical Sales Engineer role based in Cairo, Egypt, with some flexibility for work from home. The Technical Sales Engineer will identify and develop new business opportunities in the Alexandria area, manage key accounts, and meet or exceed sales targets for marine and industrial lubricants and greases. The role involves providing technical product recommendations, preparing and delivering technical presentations, and supporting customers with application, performance, and troubleshooting guidance. Daily tasks include conducting site visits, gathering customer requirements, preparing quotations, negotiating terms, and coordinating closely with internal logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery. The Technical Sales Engineer will also monitor market trends and competitors, maintain accurate records in the CRM system, and collaborate with management to develop sales plans and promotional activities.Qualifications Strong Technical Sales and Sales Engineering skills, with the ability to understand customer applications and translate them into product and service solutions.Proficiency in Sales and account management, including prospecting, pipeline development, negotiation, and closing deals.Solid Technical Support capabilities, including on-site visits, product performance assessment, and basic troubleshooting for industrial and marine lubrication systems.Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.Experience in lubricants, oils, greases, or related industrial products, ideally within marine, industrial, or oil and gas sectors.Proven ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic reporting and forecasting methods.Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently, particularly between Cairo and Alexandria and across assigned territories.Fluency in Arabic and good command of English to interact with
