As the executive distributor for Omac Italy in Egypt and a key player in contracting and supply, Circon provides heavy equipment, accessories, and cables designed for long-term performance to individuals, corporations, and governmental entities.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Telecom Sales Engineer role based in El Sheikh Zaid. The Telecom Sales Engineer will work closely with clients to understand their telecommunications and infrastructure needs, propose tailored technical solutions, and prepare detailed quotations and technical offers. This role includes conducting site visits, supporting product demonstrations, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate project scoping and solution design. The Telecom Sales Engineer will handle pre-sales and post-sales technical support, follow up on leads, manage customer accounts, and help resolve technical issues related to telecom equipment and systems. The position also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of telecom technologies, market trends, and competitor offerings to support effective sales strategies.Qualifications Strong Sales Engineering and telecom solution design skills, with the ability to translate customer requirements into technically sound proposals.Proven experience in Sales and account management, including lead follow-up, pipeline management, and closing technical deals.Customer Service and client relationship management skills, with a focus on responsiveness, reliability, and long-term partnerships.Technical Support capabilities, including troubleshooting, product configuration, and on-site/remote assistance for telecom or related systems.Excellent Communication skills for presenting technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).Familiarity with telecom infrastructure, fiber optics, cabling, or heavy equipment used in power, construction, or oil and gas projects is an advantage.Ability to work on-site, conduct field visits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with MS Office and basic CRM tools; strong documentation and reporting skills.Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken, is preferred.
