Job Title: Treasury AccountantLocation: Cairo, EgyptDepartment: FinanceReports To: Regional Financial ControllerPosition OverviewThe Treasury Accountant is responsible for managing the organization's cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risk activities. This role ensures efficient liquidity management, accurate recording of treasury transactions, and compliance with internal policies and financial regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor daily cash positions and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needsPrepare and manage cash flow forecasts (short-term and long-term)Handle bank transactions, including payments, transfers, and reconciliationsMaintain relationships with banks and financial institutionsPrepare bank reconciliations and investigate discrepanciesManage loan schedules, interest calculations, and debt repaymentsProcess and record treasury-related journal entriesEnsure compliance with treasury policies, internal controls, and audit requirementsSupport foreign currency transactions and hedging activitiesAssist in preparing financial reports related to cash and treasury activitiesMonitor and optimize banking fees and chargesSupport month-end and year-end closing processesQualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field2–5 years of experience in treasury, accounting, or finance rolesStrong understanding of cash management and banking operationsStrong understanding of trade paymentsKnowledge of accounting principles and financial reportingExperience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, D365) is preferredMS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power PointStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood communication and organizational skillsExcellent command of the English language (spoken, written, and reading skills)Key CompetenciesAttention to detail and accuracyTime management and ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical thinkingIntegrity and confidentialityAbility to work under pressureInterested candidates can apply by sending their CV at (human.resources@capdrill.com)
