Job Description:Job SummaryA Treasury Accountant is responsible for managing an organizations liquidity, banking relationships, cash flow forecasting, and financial risk activities. This role ensures sufficient funds are available to meet operational needs while optimizing cash management and maintaining compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily cash positioning and monitor bank balancesPrepare and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecastsProcess and reconcile bank transactions and treasury-related accountsManage electronic payments, wire transfers, ACH transactions, and intercompany fundingOversee debt schedules, interest payments, and loan compliance requirementsAssist with investment activities and monitor returns in line with company policyPrepare treasury reports for senior managementSupport month-end and year-end closing activities related to treasury accountsEnsure compliance with financial regulations and internal controlsMaintain relationships with banks and financial institutionsAssist with foreign currency transactions and hedging activities (if applicable)Support audits by providing treasury documentation and reconciliationsRequired QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field1-2+ years of accounting or treasury experienceStrong understanding of cash management and banking processesProficiency in accounting software and ERP systemsAdvanced Excel skillsKnowledge of GAAP/IFRS principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyRequired Skills:• Support• Cash Management• Funding• Treasury• Accounting Software• ERP• Compliance• Internal Controls• Cash Flow• Returns• Attention To Detail• Banking• Cash• Forecasting• Excel• Regulations• Payments• Accounting• Software• Documentation• Finance• Management
