You’ll collaborate closely with the underwriting team, field force, and management to ensure efficient processing and clear communication of decisions.How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)Assess risks within assigned authority and prepare recommendations for cases above authority for review by the Manager – UnderwritingDocument application developments and maintain clear, concise, and chronological recordsScreen claims (Death, Contestable, PTD, etc.) and escalate with appropriate analysis and conclusionsMaintain consistent, fair, and prudent underwriting decisions in line with company guidelinesEnsure timely completion of work within established service standardsFollow up on pending requirements and policy delivery to ensure prompt actionEnsure medical examinations are conducted in accordance with company standardsBuild and maintain strong relationships with the field force, responding professionally to inquiriesCommunicate underwriting decisions clearly to agents, explaining the rationale behind decisionsWhat You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)Medical background is requiredExcellent English proficiency (written and spoken)Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong analytical thinking and decision-making abilityHigh attention to detail and observation skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure with a customer-centric mindsetStrong time management skills
