Job SummaryThe water treatment Engineer will be involved in design of process and mechanical system related to water/wastewater treatment system in current projects, development of proposal and future projects.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Water balance calculationsPFDs and P&IDsPipeline sizingProcess design calculationsVarious mechanical design calculationsWater treatment plant process/mechanical drawingsPower plant cycle chemistry designDesign review of vendor submittalsPreparation of technical specification and tender documentsTechnical evaluation of offersProcess selection studiesTechno-economic studiesQualifications Required:Bachelor degree in Mechanical (Power).Post graduate studies is plus3– 5 years’ Experience in mechanical systems design.Familiar with relevant industry codes and standards affecting design drawings for designated disciplineUnderstands basic design interfaces and technical responsibilities of other disciplinesKnows how to interpret information on engineering drawings from other disciplines
