The Aluminium Projects Site Engineer will oversee the execution of aluminium works on construction sites, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, civil and structural engineers, and site teams to plan and sequence activities, resolve technical issues, and monitor progress. The role involves supervising installation of aluminium systems (such as façades, windows, doors, and cladding), performing quality checks, and verifying that materials and workmanship meet project and company standards. The engineer will also prepare site reports, track quantities, support inspections, and maintain clear communication with contractors, consultants, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.Qualifications Strong on-site project execution skills, with experience managing daily site activities and coordinating multiple stakeholders.Effective communication skills for collaborating with civil and structural engineers, contractors, consultants, and clients.Proficiency in quality control for aluminium works, including inspection, documentation, and compliance with standards and specifications.Solid understanding of structural engineering and civil engineering principles as they relate to aluminium systems and building envelopes.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Experience in aluminium façades, curtain walls, windows, doors, or cladding installation is highly preferred.Familiarity with technical drawings, shop drawings, and construction documentation; ability to identify discrepancies and propose solutions.Knowledge of site safety practices, relevant building codes, and industry standards.Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced site environment.Proficiency with basic engineering and office software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office); experience with project management tools is a plus.
