Following our merger with Wasoko, we're expanding across Sub-Saharan Africa.Role Overview : An Android Software Engineer 2 leads technical design and implementation while ensuring code quality through regular reviews. The role includes planning and analyzing releases, owning production issue investigations, and driving refactoring and testing initiatives. They also act as a link between business and technical teams and provide regular release updates to senior management.What You’ll Do :Design, implement and advise all the technical aspects of any business and non-business requirementsCode review for daily android tasksSetting up android release plans and alignments with other squadsNew releases analysis with the teamOwning the investigation and analysis for mobile production bugsSetting up code-base refactoring plans Unit/UI testing plans Facilitate the android business requirements between the team and business stakeholdersGive daily/weekly status updates about the demand android releases to the tech upper managementWhat We’re Looking For:BSc. In Computer Science or Related Degree3+ years experience working as an Android DeveloperA portfolio showcasing difficult and interesting builds that demonstrate strong knowledge of Java,, Kotlin and Android stackGreat passion for learning new technologiesExperience in all SDLC stages
