Driven by our merchant-obsessed mindset and our sense of social responsibility, we are working our way to achieving sustainable development goals while creating a socially responsible business that makes the world a better place where everyone can be included.What You’ll Do :Retention Metrics Across Markets• Own D30+ usage, M1/M6 retention, churn, LTV, and product stickiness across ordering and payments in Egypt, Morocco, and Kenya• Develop merchant segmentation frameworks accounting for shop size, geography, order frequency, payment behavior, and credit usage• Identify and scale high-retention cohorts in each market• Drive cross-product engagement: moving merchants from ordering-only to ordering + payments + creditProduct-Led Growth Strategy • Partner with Product to build features that create daily habits for shop owners• Design re-engagement strategies including gamified experiences, business growth programs, and community features• Build retention loops across ordering and payments products• Drive adoption across FMCGs, wholesalers, transfers, credit, cash-in/cash-out, bill payments, and acceptanceCross-Market Experimentation• Design and execute A/B tests to increase order frequency, basket size, and payment transaction volume• Build testing frameworks across diverse merchant landscapes and markets• Identify retention drivers in each market and scale appropriately• Partner with VP of Growth on experimentation roadmapLifecycle Marketing & Automation • Collaborate with CRM and Operations to design automated campaigns via SMS, WhatsApp, in-app, and field sales .• Create personalized flows: onboarding, product activation, win-back, upsell/cross-sell• Develop strategies for varying digital literacy and connectivity constraints• Incorporate field operations feedback into retention strategiesPan-African Playbook Development • Document best practices, segmentation models, and campaign templates for replication• Build frameworks distinguishing universal principles from market-specific adaptations• Enable country teams to launch programs independently• Create knowledge-sharing system for rapid deployment of winning strategiesWhat We’re Looking For:Experience• 4–6 years in Growth, Product Marketing, or Lifecycle roles at high-growth startups• Proven track record building retention systems for B2B commerce or fintech platforms• Multi-market experience, ideally in Egypt, Morocco, Kenya, or broader MENA/Africa• Startup experience through 0fi1 or 1fi10 growth stagesTechnical Skills • Expert in growth metrics, cohort analysis, A/B testing• Confident with Superset, Amplitude, Mixpanel or similar• Strong SQL skills• Understanding of gamification and behavioral psychologyMindset • Systems thinker who designs compounding retention loops• High-energy executor who ships fast and iterates • Analytical, resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity • Excellent English communication across geographies Bonus •B2B fintech, payments, or lending experience • Understanding of informal retail, FMCG supply chains in Egypt/Morocco/Kenya • WhatsApp Business, SMS engagement, low-connectivity product experience • Team leadership or freelancer management • Telegram mini-apps or Web3 experience
