Team members join a collaborative environment that emphasizes professional growth, innovation, and reliability.Role Description The Architectural Fit-Out Design Engineer will be responsible for developing detailed architectural fit-out designs for commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects in alignment with client requirements and local regulations. This full-time, on-site role is based in Cairo, Egypt, and involves preparing coordinated design drawings, specifications, and material selections that integrate architectural, mechanical, and electrical components. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, reviewing technical inputs, and ensuring design compliance with codes, standards, and project budgets. The role includes participating in client and contractor meetings, resolving design issues during construction, and providing technical support for site supervision teams. The Architectural Fit-Out Design Engineer will also contribute to design reviews, quality control processes, and continuous improvement of design standards and templates.QualificationsStrong Design Engineering and Product Design skills for developing coordinated fit-out concepts and detailed layouts.Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles relevant to HVAC, plumbing, and coordination with architectural designs.Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles for power, lighting, and low-current systems integration in fit-out projects.Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and related design software for producing precise drawings and documentation.Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.Experience in architectural fit-out, interior design, or building services coordination, preferably with consultancy firms.Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations applicable in Egypt and the region.Ability to read and coordinate multidisciplinary drawings, resolve clashes, and support value engineering efforts.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills with attention to detail and quality.Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with capacity to collaborate across disciplines and with external stakeholders.Ability to work on-site full time in Cairo, Egypt, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.Professional certifications or training in CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and design standards are an advantage.
