Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities1. Strategic Business Analysis & Advisory• Partner with senior stakeholders (Product Heads, Operations, Compliance, Finance, IT leadership) to:o Shape business problems into well-defined initiativeso Assess feasibility, impact, and valueo Recommend solution options (process, system, policy, or hybrid)• Act as a trusted advisor, not just a requirements gatherer• Challenge assumptions and ensure alignment with business strategy and customer outcomes2. End-to-End Requirements Ownership• Lead the full requirements lifecycle, including:o Business requirements (BRD / FSR)o Functional requirementso Non-functional requirements (NFRs)o Regulatory and compliance requirements• Ensure requirements are:o Clear, complete, unambiguous, and testableo Traceable to business objectiveso Signed off by appropriate business owners• Own and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)3. Stakeholder Management & Governance• Act as the single point of accountability for business requirements• Facilitate and lead:o Workshopso Design walkthroughso Requirement validation sessionso UAT readiness and sign-off• Manage conflicting stakeholder priorities and drive consensus• Ensure proper governance, approvals, and documentation standards are followed4. Solution Design Collaboration (BA vs Tech Model)• Work closely with:o Technical Leadso Architectso QAo Vendors / System Integrators• Validate that proposed technical designs:o Fully meet business requirementso Do not introduce unnecessary complexityo Respect business rules and regulatory constraints• Challenge technical solutions when they deviate from business intent5. Change, Impact & Value Management• Conduct:o Business impact analysiso Process impact assessmento Data impact analysis• Identify operational readiness gaps• Support change management activities:o Business readinesso Training inputso Communication alignment• Define and track business success metrics / KPIs6. Testing & Acceptance Leadership• Own business acceptance criteria• Lead or govern UAT:o Ensure scenarios cover end-to-end business flowso Validate outcomes against original business intento Provide formal business sign-off Job SpecificationsEducation / Certifications:• B.SC. in communication or computer engineering or related discipline• 2-3 years’ relevant experience• Understanding of project management• CBAP is a plus.• Experience in Agile environment is a plus.Job Qualifications:• Strong business analysis skills• Agile project management experience• Technical understanding and problem-solving abilities• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.Soft Skills & Behavioral Competencies:• Communication and interpersonal skills• Time management and organizational skills• Problem-solving skills• Analytical skills• Leadership and management skills• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
