Job Responsibilities and Duties: 1: Implementation of Plans and Business DevelopmentExecute the branch operational plan in alignment with the center’s strategy and sectoral objectives.Build and continuously update the client database through ongoing communication with current and potential clients.Conduct field visits to targeted factories and companies to promote the center’s services and enhance cooperation opportunities.2: Client Assessment and Identifying Development OpportunitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of clients from technical, administrative, and financial perspectives to identify their actual needs.Analyze gaps and identify suitable business development opportunities, particularly in the food industries sector.Propose solutions and development initiatives that enhance companies’ efficiency and competitiveness.3: Project Design and ManagementPrepare the Scope of Work (SOW) for proposed projects and draft contractual terms in coordination with relevant technical departments.Actively participate in proposal evaluation committees and the selection of service providers.Coordinate and manage project kick-off, implementation, and closure meetings to ensure compliance with technical requirements and quality standards.Monitor project implementation on-site, track timelines, and address any challenges or obstacles.Review technical deliverables in coordination with relevant departments to ensure compliance with contractual terms.4: Contracts and Financial ProceduresPrepare contracts and obtain necessary approvals in accordance with approved procedures.Prepare and review payment documents and required technical reports for payment approvals.Follow up on project payments and coordinate with the finance department.Manage and launch tenders for projects within the approved financial limits.Participate in bid evaluation committees.5: Follow-up, Reporting, and Performance MeasurementPrepare periodic progress reports and submit them to the Branch Manager.Resolve any issues related to project implementation.Evaluate projects upon completion to measure their developmental and economic impact.Document lessons learned and success stories to improve future performance.6: Institutional Coordination and Policy DevelopmentContribute to sectoral initiatives and technical meetings related to sector development.Share and analyze field data to support the development of industrial policies and programs in coordination with relevant departments.7: Administration and OrganizationOrganize and maintain files and data accurately in coordination with the branch administrator.Perform any other tasks assigned within the scope of the job role. Experience and Requirements Chemical Industries Sector:Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.7–10 years of experience in the chemical industries sector or industrial business development.Hands-on experience working in chemical industry factories (e.g., detergents, foam, fertilizers, plastics, etc.).Proven experience in business development, program management, and conducting site visits.Strong presentation skills and professional report writing abilities.Full proficiency in both Arabic and English.Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Oracle systems.Technical Skills Chemical Industries Sector:· Strong understanding of value chains in the chemical sector.Familiarity with the following is preferred:Lean ManufacturingQuality SystemsProject Management
