Chief Maintenance Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:Managing the Engineering Team to efficiently maintain all hotel operations such as repairs & maintenanceoperations, preventive maintenance schedules, annual maintenance contracts, energy.Evaluates mechanical and electromechanical systems and products by designing and conducting researchprograms; applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials.Conservatives, Health & Safety programs within hotel standards, brand service standards, civil defensestandards, municipality standards and HACCAP requirements.Measuring performance of mechanical components, devices and enginesCoordinate maintenance schedule, supply of materials required to maintain machines and equipment in theprescribed condition.Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair to ensure that machines and equipment areinstalled and functioning according to specifications.Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendationsto maintenance crew.Developing systems and procedures to ensure the health, safety of guests, Team Members, machinery,property, implementing, and directing all emergency programs.Developing, implementing and managing energy conservation programs for the property to minimizeexpenses & to have sustainable environment.Improving Standard Operational Procedures.Develops and implements strategies that will deliver products and services.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Minimum of experience 15 years maintenance management.Last 5 years must experience in the same position.Prior of experience hotel five-stars which has more than 350 room maintenance at least 5 years or more is must.Strong knowledge of and experience with maintenance practices, policies, and procedures.Strong change management skills & experience.Multitasking, time management, Interpersonal Skills and organizational Skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
