Hassan Allam Construction is seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Section Head to lead our site-based team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing commercial operations, managing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. This role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and exceptional communication skills to drive project success and foster client relationships.Location: Ras EL-HekmaResponsibilities:Lead the commercial team on-site, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and objectives.Manage the commercial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.Monitor project performance against budgets and timelines, implementing corrective actions as required to mitigate risks.Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure commercial activities align with project milestones and deliverables.Provide commercial guidance and support to site operations to optimize resource utilization and cost management.Prepare and present regular commercial reports to senior management and stakeholders, offering insights on project financial performance and forecasts.Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all commercial dealings and project activities.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, promoting opportunities for repeat business and referrals.Lead and mentor the commercial team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is a must.Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial management within the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and construction project management principles.Proven track record of successfully managing project budgets and controlling costs in a fast-paced environment.Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and lead teams to achieve strategic objectives.
