Guided by a vision of a world where animals are cared for and protected, Animal Welfare League offers meaningful opportunities for individuals passionate about social impact and animal welfare.Core ResponsibilitiesCorporate Outreach & NegotiationMap and maintain a database of Egyptian food companies and key decision-makersLead corporate outreach via emails, calls, meetings, and eventsPrepare briefs, policy asks, and follow-upsNegotiate cage-free policies, timelines, and public commitmentsCampaign Planning & ExecutionPlan and run corporate campaigns suited to Egypt’s legal and cultural context, delivering lawful offline and digital campaigns. Recruit, brief, and manage volunteers, supporters, and partners; ensure safety, legality, and message discipline.Assess risks and ensure safety and compliance at all timesSet clear action plans, targets, and timelines.Content, Media, and Stakeholder EngagementDraft reports, briefings, and position papersSupport media outreach in Arabic and EnglishRepresent AWL at meetings, events, and conveningsWrite concise copy and create simple visuals for AWL’s social channels to support campaigns.Build relationships with civil society groups, journalists, and coalitions.Measurement, Learning, and ImprovementTrack outcomes, commitments, timelines, and compliance evidence.Identify lessons, gaps, and opportunities.Maintain a tidy CRM/database with audit-ready documentation.Logistics & TravelTravel within Egypt for meetings and campaign activitiesCoordinate logistics for events and actions.QualificationsExperience in campaign coordination, project management, or corporate partnerships, with the ability to plan, execute, and evaluate multi-channel campaigns.Strong communication skills, including professional writing, presentation, and interpersonal abilities for engaging corporate stakeholders and internal teams.Background in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and use insights to improve campaign performance and stakeholder engagement.Proficiency with office productivity tools and basic digital platforms (e.g., email marketing tools, social media, spreadsheets, and presentation software).Demonstrated interest in animal welfare, social impact, or environmental issues, and commitment to the mission and values of Animal Welfare League.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, on-site work environment.Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage.Equal Employment OpportunityAnimal Welfare League welcomes applicants regardless of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, family/marital status, or other protected status.Note: Animal Welfare League cannot provide assistance in obtaining work authorization.
