Target Location: MENA (KSA, Jordan, Egypt) Role OverviewAs the CTO at Aumet, you will be the primary architect of the region’s first "AutonomousProcurement Engine" for healthcare. Aumet is moving beyond a B2B marketplace to anAI-native ecosystem. Your mission is to evolve our "Aumet Hero" data platform into a predictivepowerhouse that eliminates medication waste ($2.3M+ target) and automates the supply chainfor over 5,000 pharmacies.Key ResponsibilitiesAI/ML Strategy: Lead the roadmap for automated stock replenishment, dynamic pricing,and demand forecasting.Engineering Integration: Oversee the technical synergy between our Python-basedML models and our core PHP (Backend) and Vue.js (Frontend) stack.Architecture & DevOps: Own the high-level System Design and DatabaseArchitecture (BigQuery/PostgreSQL) to ensure our cloud infrastructure scales acrossmultiple countries.Data Leadership: Transform raw transactional data (600k+ annual orders) intoproprietary insights that provide a competitive moat for Aumet.Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and lead a multi-national team of Data Scientists andDevOps Engineers.Technical RequirementsLanguages: Expert in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch); solidunderstanding of PHP and Vue.js to guide full-stack integration.Infrastructure: Proven experience in Cloud Infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and DevOps(CI/CD, Containerization/Docker).Systems: Deep knowledge of System Design for high-traffic platforms and complexDatabase Architectures.Experience: 7+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in a leadership role (Headof AI, Lead Data Scientist, or similar).
