JOB DETAILSJob Title: Design Senior Engineer - Solar EnergySector/Business Line: Elsewedy Electric T&D.Scope: Transmission & Distribution.Department: EngineeringReporting Line: Design Section HeadKey Responsibilities:Engineering & Design:Design complete Solar PV systems, including:PV LayoutsDC Single Line Diagrams (SLD)AC Single Line Diagrams (SLD)String sizing and calculationsPerform cable sizing calculations for both AC and DC systems.Ensure designs comply with project specifications, standards, and best practices.Quantity Surveying & Tendering:Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for PV stations.Conduct tender studies and generate BOQs based on tender documents and project requirements.Technical Support & Coordination:Follow up on site activities and provide technical support during execution.Coordinate with suppliers for technical clarifications, materials, and delivery follow-ups.Ensure alignment between design, procurement, and site implementation.Project Coordination:Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.Support issue resolution related to design and implementation.Technical Competence: 1- design and site technical skills. 2- PV syst & Cymcap software.Qualification & Education: 5–7 years of experience in Electrical/ Renewable engineering, preferably within the EPC sector.
