Cost Control Engineer

JOB DETAILSJob Title: Cost Control Engineer.Sector/Business Line: ElSewedy Electric T&D.Scope: Transmission & Distribution.Department: Project Controls.Accountabilities:Develop and manage project cost baseline and CBS.Monitor actual vs. budgeted costs, commitments, and forecasts.Perform variance analysis and propose corrective actions.Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flows, and forecast-at-completion.Evaluate cost impact of changes and variations.Coordinate with planning, procurement, and commercial teams.Identify cost risks and opportunities.Direct Manager: Cost Control Team Leader.Education Background:2-5 years in project cost control within construction, Substation, power, or industrial projects.Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost monitoring, and reporting.Coordination with engineering, procurement, finance, and site teams.Technical Skills required.Cost management: budgeting, CBS/WBS alignment, cost variance analysis, forecasting, EVM.Tools: Advanced Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), Power BI, MS Office; Primavera P6 is an advantage.Strong analytical and reporting skills.
