Your RoleThis role involves analyzing and evaluating serial link performance, working on calibration processes and closed-loop system design, and modeling photonic and electrical components. The candidate will collaborate closely with the digital team to implement designs in a fixed-point format.Key Responsibilities: Analyze serial link performance and define specifications at each stage.Design and develop calibration processes and closed-loop control systems, converting them into fixed-point representations for digital implementation.Model photonic and electrical components to evaluate and optimize system performance.Work closely with hardware and digital design teams to translate system-level models into implementable solutions.Assist in debugging, testing, and improving system performance.Required Qualifications B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Communications, Computer Engineering, or related field with 0–2 years of work experience.Excellent proficiency in MATLAB for system modeling and simulation.Strong C/C++ programming skills.Deep understanding of:Continuous-Time and Discrete-Time SignalsAnalog and Digital Communication SystemsControl TheoryPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with Hardware Description Languages (HDL) such as VHDL or Verilog.Knowledge of digital design principles and their implementation in FPGA/ASIC.We Offer Base SalaryEquityAnnual Bonus PlanMedical InsuranceInformation about our benefits you can find here: https://gf.com/careers/opportunities-in-europe/
