The environment encourages innovation, collaboration, and positive engagement within the wider community.Role Description The English Teacher - Year 5 (British experience) will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned English lessons to Year 5 students, following a British-style educational framework. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, providing timely feedback, and maintaining a supportive classroom environment. The teacher will differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, integrate literacy skills across subjects, and collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development. Additional duties include preparing learning materials, participating in school events and meetings, and contributing to ongoing curriculum improvement. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Elite Generation International School in Qesm El Maadi.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with proven experience instructing Year 5 or upper primary students in a British curriculum context.Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills and a solid background in Education, including the ability to design structured, age-appropriate learning activities.Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, including the ability to engage students, collaborate with colleagues, and build positive relationships with parents and guardians.Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor’s degree in Education or English, PGCE, or equivalent) and recognized teaching certification are highly beneficial.Experience in international or multicultural school settings, familiarity with student-centered learning strategies, and capability to use educational technology in the classroom are advantageous.Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding, inclusive practices, and continuous professional development is preferred.
