The teacher will plan and deliver engaging Year 7 English lessons aligned with the British curriculum, focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and resources, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records. The teacher will manage classroom behavior, create a safe and inclusive learning environment, and communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student development. Additional duties may include participation in staff meetings, professional development activities, and school events that support the wider school community.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with proven experience at Year 7 level and familiarity with the British curriculum.Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning and Education-related skills, including curriculum implementation and differentiation for varied learning needs.Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear classroom communication and positive engagement with students, families, and colleagues.Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field, plus recognized teaching certification).Experience in international or multicultural school settings and commitment to holistic student development are highly beneficial.Ability to use classroom technology and digital tools to enhance learning, and to collaborate as part of a professional teaching team.
