Job Summary:General Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax laws and accounting standards, and supporting audits and reporting processes. The role involves close coordination with different departments to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, general ledger, and reconciliations.Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax laws, accounting standards, and internal policies.Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation.Coordinate with other departments to ensure transactional and reporting accuracyMinimum Requirements:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience:1 – 3 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in retail or fashion industries. Soft Skills:High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills. Strong communication abilities, integrity, and a proactive approach to problem solving. Technical Skills:Solid understanding of Egyptian tax laws, accounting principles, and financial reporting. Language Skills:Good in English (spoken and written).Computer Skills:Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel. Other Requirements:Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
