MHCEG, part of Mosaic Holding Corporation headquartered in Calgary Canada, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Architecture to lead and grow our Architecture Department in Cairo. This role is a key leadership position within our global delivery model, supporting projects across the Middle East, North America, and other international markets.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the architectural team in Cairo, ensuring high-quality project delivery, strengthening technical capabilities, and supporting the continued growth of MHCEG as an international design and engineering platform.As part of our long-term talent development strategy, high-performing team members may have future opportunities for transfer or relocation to our offices in Canada or the United States, depending on performance, business needs, and position availability within our Canada and U.S. operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the Architecture Department in Cairo, including team structure, staffing, resource planning, and performance managementOversee the design and delivery of projects locally and internationally, ensuring alignment with MHCEG and global industry standardsEnsure high-quality outputs by implementing strict QA/QC procedures and minimizing design errors and reworkDevelop and maintain department standards, workflows, BIM processes, and best practicesSupport the Business Development team through technical input for proposals, tender submissions, presentations, and client meetingsBuild and strengthen department knowledge through training programs, mentoring, and technical development initiativesDrive efficiency, productivity, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams and international officesPromote innovation in architecture and design technologies, including façade engineering, sustainability solutions, and advanced BIM integrationMentor and develop architectural staff while establishing clear career progression pathways within the departmentCoordinate effectively with international teams and leadership across multiple regions and time zonesExperience15–20+ years of professional architectural experienceProven experience leading and managing medium to large architectural teamsStrong track record delivering complex international projectsExperience in regulated sectors such as healthcare, airports, and large-scale mixed-use developments is preferredQualificationsProfessional degree in ArchitectureLicensed Architect (mandatory or equivalent professional accreditation)Strong understanding of international building standards, BIM workflows, and multidisciplinary project coordinationMBA or formal leadership/management training is considered an advantageLEED accreditation or sustainability certification is preferredAdditional RequirementsFluent English (spoken and written) with the ability to lead meetings, communicate with international clients, and prepare professional reports and presentationsAbility to work within an international delivery environment aligned with Western business calendars and project schedulesExcellent leadership, communication, organizational, and team management skillsAbility to operate effectively within a multi-regional and multicultural environmentStrong commitment to quality, collaboration, and continuous improvementCareer Growth OpportunityMHCEG is committed to developing long-term leadership talent within the organization.
