i. Job PurposeThe Data Analyst is a detail-oriented, process-driven professional responsible for the end-to-end management of EduGate's data assets. This role combines technical data processing with analytical reporting to ensure 100% CRM data accuracy, build automated dashboards for the sales team, and generate actionable business insights that directly contribute to enrollment forecasting and operational efficiency. ii. Key Responsibilities 1. Data Entry & CRM Management (30%)• Input all student and sales data into the CRM with 100% accuracy, including personal details, academic profiles, application statuses, and communication logs.• Perform daily data cleaning, deduplication, and validation against source documents (applications, transcripts, ID copies).• Enforce data entry standards across the sales team by providing guidelines, templates, and real-time feedback.• Maintain master data dictionaries for university requirements, tuition fees, deadlines, and program offerings.2. Reporting & Dashboard Creation (25%)• Build and maintain real-time dashboards (Google Looker Studio / MS Excel / Power BI) that track key sales KPIs: conversion rates, lead response time, enrollment velocity, and pipeline health.• Automate weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for management, reducing manual reporting time by 80%+.• Create ad-hoc reports for business development requests, including competitor analysis, market trends, and student demographic studies.• Design and distribute daily sales scorecards that rank individual and team performance against targets.3. Data Quality Auditing & Process Optimization (20%)• Audit sales team adherence to data entry protocols on a weekly basis, publishing a Data Health Score for each counselor. • Identify data bottlenecks, inconsistencies, and recurring errors, then propose technical solutions (dropdown lists, validation rules, mandatory fields, scripts). • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all data-related activities, including data entry, data cleaning, and report generation. • Train new joiners on CRM data entry protocols, Excel best practices, and dashboard navigation4. Sales Forecasting & Pipeline Analysis (15%)• Perform sales forecasting using historical enrollment data, seasonal trends, and current pipeline stages.• Analyze conversion rates at each stage of the sales cycle (Lead → Consultation → Application → Offer → Enrollment) to identify drop off points and improvement opportunities.• Provide leadership with weekly pipeline health reports, including aging analysis and at-risk application identification. • Use predictive analytics to recommend adjustments to sales strategy, territory allocation, and target setting. iii. Qualifications & Experience: -Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.-Experience (Data): Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in data entry, data cleaning, dashboard creation, or data analysis.-Experience (CRM): Minimum of 6 months of experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar).-Preferred Experience: Prior experience in the education sector, student recruitment, or sales operations is a strong advantage.
