About the RoleThe Head of Finance – Egypt is a hands-on leadership role at the heart of our Egypt business. You will build and lead the finance function for Pay10 Egypt, serving as the primary finance partner to the CEO while working closely with our global finance team. This role spans financial reporting, treasury, tax and statutory compliance, internal controls, and audit — in a fast-paced, regulated fintech environment.This isn't a maintenance role. You'll be setting up systems, shaping governance, and helping drive business decisions as we scale in one of the region's most exciting payments markets.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Finance & LeadershipLead Pay10 Egypt's finance agenda in alignment with local and global objectivesPartner with the CEO and global finance leadership on planning, performance, and strategic decisionsBuild and scale a finance function fit for a high-growth, regulated environmentProvide commercially grounded financial insight to support pricing, business cases, and operationsFinancial Operations & ReportingOversee the full finance cycle — accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, and statutory reportingDeliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, global finance, and auditorsMaintain ledger integrity and alignment with group reporting standards and timelinesCoordinate consolidation submissions, intercompany matters, and reporting packages with the global teamTreasury, Funding & BankingManage liquidity, working capital, and cash flow planningOversee cash flow forecasting and controls over payments and bank balancesCoordinate with global treasury on funding, FX exposure, and intercompany balancesBuild and maintain strong local banking relationshipsRegulatory, Tax & Statutory ComplianceEnsure compliance with Egypt's financial, tax, and statutory requirements and CBE regulatory framework (Law No. 194 of 2020 / 2025 PSO/PSP licensing)Oversee local tax compliance, filings, and Egypt ETA electronic invoicing readinessLiaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory stakeholdersGovernance, Risk & Internal ControlsDesign and embed a strong internal control environment across accounting, treasury, reporting, and approvalsDocument and implement scalable finance policies and processesIdentify and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risksDrive closure of audit findings and remediation actionsMarket Setup & Business SupportSupport entity setup, local registrations, and finance aspects of licensing and market entryProvide financial input into new products, partnerships, and pricing initiativesWork cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Product, Operations, and Commercial teamsWhat We're Looking ForProfessional accounting qualification — CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent (mandatory)Big 4 experience preferred with 3–4 years in a professional consulting firm10–15 years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership roleFintech experience is a must — minimum 3–4 years in fintech in Egypt strongly preferredStrong knowledge of Egypt's financial, tax, and CBE regulatory frameworksPrior experience in a CBE Approved / Controlled Function Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and business partnering skills with strong commercial acumenFluent in EnglishWhy Pay10?A rare opportunity to own and build a finance function from the ground up within a licensed, growing fintech in Egypt.
