Them come join us and measure the impact of your talent and energy in realizing an ambitious and sustainable company project!#IWorkForAllForGoodJob PurposeThe Health and Safety Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving health, safety, and environmental (HSE) programs to ensure a safe, compliant, and risk-free workplace. This role proactively identifies hazards, promotes a robust safety culture, and ensures adherence to all relevant regulations and corporate standards through program development, training, auditing, and effective incident management. Main AcoountabilitiesProgram Development & Implementation: Design, implement, and monitor HS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all applicable regulations (e.g., OSHA).Develop and conduct HSE risk assessments, hazard analyses (e.g., HAZOP, FMEA), and ergonomic assessments.Establish and maintain emergency response plans, including fire safety, spill containment, and evacuation procedures. Compliance & AuditingEnsure the facility operates in accordance with all relevant HSE laws, permits, and corporate guidelines.Conduct regular HS inspections, audits, and walk-throughs to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.Prepare and submit required HS reports to regulatory agencies and internal management.Manage and track corrective actions stemming from audits and inspections. Training & AwarenessDevelop and deliver comprehensive HS training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors on topics such as hazard communication, lockout/tagout, confined space entry, emergency procedures, and safe work practices.Promote a strong safety culture through awareness campaigns, safety meetings, and communication initiatives. Incident ManagementInvestigate all incidents, accidents, near-misses, and environmental excursions to determine root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.Maintain accurate records of incidents and generate reports for analysis and trend identification. Education, Experience And QualificationsBachelor’s degree, in Occupational Health and Safety or relevant technical area.1 to 3 years of Safety experience.
