Team members join an environment that values excellence, structure, and a refined guest experience.Role Description The Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing daily hotel operations on board, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and consistent service standards. This full-time, on-site role is based in Cairo, Egypt, with operational oversight of cruise activities along the Nile. Key responsibilities include supervising front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and guest services teams, as well as monitoring room occupancy, revenue performance, and service quality. The Hotel Manager will coordinate staff schedules, manage budgets, support sales initiatives, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations. The role also includes handling guest feedback, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining the disciplined and detail-oriented standards of The Grand Mandarin and The Royal Mandarin.Qualifications Strong customer service skills and a proven ability to create a welcoming, professional guest experience.Experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting in a hospitality or travel environment.Knowledge of sales strategies and revenue management, with the ability to promote hotel and cruise services effectively.Background in food and beverage operations, including quality control, menu coordination, and service standards.Experience with receptionist duties, front office coordination, and reservation systems.Previous leadership experience in hotel management or cruise hospitality, preferably in a luxury setting.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills, with attention to detail and consistency.Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic and other languages is an advantage.Ability to work on-site, manage diverse teams, and adapt to dynamic operational environments.Relevant degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field is preferred.
