Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Internal Audit Manager will support the Internal Audit function in providing independent and objective assurance over the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal controls across the organization. The role requires strong experience in operational, financial, compliance, and SOX audits within complex business environments.The ideal candidate should possess a strong FMCG background, with pharmaceutical industry experience being highly preferred. The candidate must also have prior external audit experience and hands-on experience in SOX testing, internal controls evaluation, and enterprise risk assessment activities.---Key ResponsibilitiesInternal Audit Execution· Lead and execute risk-based internal audits across operational, financial, compliance, supply chain, procurement, sales, manufacturing, and commercial functions.· Develop audit scope, audit programs, testing strategies, and documentation in accordance with internal audit standards and company policies.· Perform walkthroughs, control testing, substantive testing, and root cause analysis.· Prepare clear and concise audit reports highlighting risks, control gaps, and practical recommendations.· Follow up on audit observations and validate remediation actions.SOX Compliance & Internal Controls· Perform and manage SOX testing activities for key business processes and controls.· Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting (ICFR).· Coordinate with process owners to address control deficiencies and remediation plans.· Maintain proper audit evidence and documentation aligned with SOX requirements.· Support annual SOX planning and scoping exercises.Risk Assessment· Participate in enterprise-wide risk assessment activities.· Identify emerging business risks, operational inefficiencies, and compliance concerns.· Assist in developing the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessment results.· Evaluate adequacy of risk mitigation controls across business functions.Stakeholder Management· Build effective relationships with business stakeholders and management teams.· Coordinate with external auditors and support external audit requirements when needed.· Present audit findings and recommendations to management professionally and confidently.---Job RequirementsQualifications & ExperienceEducation· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.· Moving forward to or having professional certifications such as CIA, ESAA are preferred.Experience· 10–12 years of total professional experience in Internal Audit field, mixed experience between internal and external audit is highly preferred.· Pharmaceutical and FMCG industry experience are highly preferred.· Prior experience in a Big 4 or reputable external audit firm is preferred.· Experience in SOX testing and internal controls assessment is mandatory.· Strong experience in risk assessment and development of risk-based audit plans.---Technical Skills· Internal Audit Standards (IIA Standards)· SOX compliance and ICFR frameworks· Experience using ERP systems such as SAP is highly preferred.
