The Internal Auditor is responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, operational procedures, and compliance activities across the company. The role ensures that financial, operational, and administrative processes are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.Internal Audit ActivitiesConduct internal audits for financial, operational, administrative, and compliance functions across the company.Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, procedures, and risk management systems.Review company operations to identify control weaknesses, inefficiencies, and non-compliance issues.Ensure company activities comply with internal policies, regulations, and applicable laws.Risk Assessment & ComplianceIdentify operational, financial, and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, and control mechanisms.Support implementation of risk mitigation measures and process improvements.Monitor compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and management directives.Financial & Operational ReviewReview accounting records, financial transactions, inventory controls, procurement activities, and operational processes.Verify the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial and operational information.Conduct audits related to expenses, assets, inventory, contracts, and departmental activities.Identify discrepancies, irregularities, or potential fraud risks and report findings appropriately.Reporting & DocumentationPrepare audit reports outlining findings, observations, risks, and recommendations.Present audit results and corrective action plans to management.Maintain proper documentation and records for all audit activities and findings.Follow up on implementation of corrective and preventive actions.Process ImprovementRecommend improvements to strengthen internal controls, operational efficiency, and compliance.Support development and enhancement of company policies and procedures.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across departments.Coordination & CommunicationCoordinate with department managers and employees during audit activities.Provide guidance regarding compliance requirements and internal control procedures.Maintain confidentiality of audit information, records, and company data at all times.
