Overview:Hassan Allam Utilities (HAU), the development and investment arm of Hassan Allam Holding, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Investment Associate to join our dynamic team. HAU is a leading investor in the Energy, Logistics, Water, and Social Infrastructure sectors. Our growth strategy includes developing greenfield and brownfield projects and acquiring successful operating entities with significant growth potential. We leverage Hassan Allam Holdings' extensive experience in the Egyptian market and collaborate with international partners who bring leading expertise in each focus sector. As an active investor, HAU is involved in the full investment lifecycle, from debt and equity mobilization to portfolio management and managing exits.Responsibilities:Perform detailed financial analysis for due diligence and valuations of prospective investment opportunities to guide investment decisions;Assist in preparing and presenting various documents for the Investment Committee including investment proposals and performance reports for existing investments;Develop financial models to capture and evaluate the fundamentals of various investments, including analysis of past performance and projecting future results to assess the value and financial capacity of different investments, with a goal to enhance return on investment of projects and financial planning;Assist in engaging and coordinating the work of external advisors;Participate in debt raising exercises for projects and investees through interacting with existing and prospective financial institutions and preparing their requirements;Work as part of a team in preparing the group’s consolidated business plan, funding plan and HAU’s portfolio valuation exercises and reports;Assist with the negotiation of various engagement documents with partners and counterparts including NDAs, MOUs, SHAs, SPAs and Term Sheets;Raise project finance from commercial banks and DFIs including preparing lenders IMs, negotiating term sheets, finance documents and managing CP satisfaction process; andWork with all other teams to support project proposals, assessment of operating investments and preparing corporate reporting materialRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics.3-5 years of experience in a similar role in Corporate Banking, Private Equity, Investment function in infrastructure industry.CFA Level 1 certification.Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.“At Hassan Allam Holding, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive and welcoming workplace.
