EELAF is hiring a detail-oriented and technically strong Lighting Technical Office Engineer to support lighting projects through technical studies, lighting calculations, product selection, submittals, compliance review, and coordination with sales, design, suppliers, and customers.The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing project requirements, preparing lighting studies, selecting suitable lighting solutions, and supporting approvals for indoor, outdoor, façade, architectural, commercial, hospitality, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesReview project specifications, BOQs, drawings, schedules, and client requirements.Prepare lighting calculations and lighting studies using Dialux or similar software.Select suitable lighting fixtures based on application, budget, technical compliance, and design intent.Prepare technical submittals, compliance sheets, product datasheets, catalogues, and technical comparison documents.Support the sales team with technical and commercial offers.Support product approvals with consultants, contractors, developers, and project stakeholders.Review lighting layouts, lux levels, mounting heights, beam angles, color temperature, CRI, IP rating, IK rating, wattage, and control requirements.Coordinate with suppliers and product teams to obtain datasheets, certificates, prices, availability, and technical clarifications.Support indoor, outdoor, façade, landscape, industrial, and architectural lighting applications.Assist in preparing value-engineering proposals and alternative product selections.Support lighting control system requirements when needed.Ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant international lighting standards.Maintain accurate project documentation, submittal records, offer revisions, and technical correspondence.Coordinate with sales, design, suppliers, logistics, and customers to ensure timely and accurate submissions.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is a must.Minimum 2–5 years of experience in lighting technical office, lighting design, or lighting project support.Strong knowledge of lighting products, lighting applications, and project requirements.Good experience with Dialux is required.Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is required.Ability to read and understand BOQs, electrical drawings, lighting layouts, and technical specifications.Good understanding of indoor, outdoor, façade, landscape, industrial, and architectural lighting.Familiarity with lighting standards and certifications such as LM79, LM80, TM-21, TM-30, ENEC, CB, CE, IP, IK, and related standards is preferred.Good understanding of lighting control systems is an advantage.Strong technical documentation, coordination, and follow-up skills.High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.Good command of written and spoken English.Experience working with consultants, contractors, or lighting suppliers is preferred.Preferred Candidate ProfileTechnically accurate and detail-oriented.Strong in lighting calculations, submittals, and product selection.Able to support sales without acting as a salesperson.Comfortable dealing with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.Able to work on several projects and submissions at the same time.Understands that wrong technical selection can affect approval, delivery, and project execution.
