Design and develop mechanical layouts for Low Voltage (LV) switchboards and electrical panels.Prepare GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and detailed part drawings.Develop busbar layouts and cable alley designs.Perform sheet metal design and structural strength considerations.Coordinate with electrical design engineers to ensure proper component placement.Select appropriate materials and hardware based on project requirements.Ensure compliance with IEC / local standards and internal quality guidelines.Optimize designs for cost, manufacturability, and ease of assembly.Support production team during fabrication and assembly stages.Address client comments and revise drawings as required. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.3 years of experience in LV switchboard designProficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar 2D/3D design software.Strong knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication processes.Experience in busbar design and thermal considerations.Understanding of IP ratings and enclosure protection standards.Familiarity with LV standards such as IEC 61439.Knowledge of electrical component mounting and layout practices.Preferred Skills:Experience working in LV Siemens panel builder.Basic knowledge of electrical systems.Good problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work under deadlines.
