Design and develop Low and Medium Voltage switchboards, MCCs, and control panels according to project specifications and applicable standards (IEC, ANSI, etc.).Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), general arrangement (GA) drawings, control schematics, wiring diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BOM).Select and size appropriate electrical components (circuit breakers, relays, contactors, busbars, CTs, PTs, etc.).Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to clarify technical requirements and resolve design-related issues.Ensure designs meet protection coordination, short-circuit rating, and thermal performance requirements.Support factory acceptance testing (FAT), technical reviews, and commissioning activities as required.Provide technical documentation, reports, and as-built drawings for project handover.Maintain compliance with company standards, quality systems, and applicable electrical codes.Contribute to cost optimization and continuous improvement in design methodologies and processes. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.5 to 8 years of relevant experience in LV/MV switchboard or panelboard design.Strong knowledge of IEC / ANSI standards, switchgear architecture, and power system protection principles.Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar CAD software for electrical design.Familiarity with electrical calculation tools (ETAP, Ecodial, Amtech, etc.) for short-circuit and load analysis.Experience with major switchgear brands (Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB, Eaton, etc.) and their component specifications.Understanding of busbar design, thermal analysis, and fault withstand considerations.Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects within deadlines.Knowledge of panel assembly processes, testing, and certification is an advantage.
