About the jobThe Manager Credit Scoring Underwriting is responsible for leading a team of credit filtration team bookingretail ROSCA applications in a digital retail credit scoring model. The model is built for instant approvals.The candidate will supervise the team and monitoring portfolio performance and credit quality and at timesbook cases as well. The role reports to the MD of the company and oversees credit-scoring modelenhancement, PAR reviews, profitability analysis, and policy recommendations to support effectiveunderwriting and collections strategies. The candidate will collaborate closely with the product manager,business intelligence team and the technology teams. The candidate will also be involved in the collectioneffort and collection policy setting Job Responsibilities & Duties:Management of Asset Portfolio Performance through drilled-down portfolio analyses to identify high-risk segments, industries,companies, & programs. Monitor portfolio performance metrics, such as growth,profitability, and credit quality. Formulating monthly & Ad-hoc reports of portfolio profitability analyzing RAR vintage reports & segmented portfolio P&Ls to provide policy recommendations. Providing policy-related recommendations to the Underwriting & Collections teams in addition to implementing & monitoring policy restrictions/relaxations according to FRA circulars, Risk Assessment indicators ("RAIs"), portfolio reviews, & discussions with Business. Perform the Portfolio at Risk (PAR) reviews for different consumer products to ensure that values are aligned with the agreed benchmarks Learning, developing, and enhancing the company’s credit scoring model (based on I-Score), improving its performance and implementing robust fraud prevention measures. Collaborate with Tech team to integrate credit risk models into the company’s platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and performanceDeveloping and implementing strategic collection plans to improve portfolio performance and minimize delinquencies Conduct regular portfolio stress tests and scenario analysis to evaluate the resilience of the portfolio under adverse conditions.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration or any related field preferred)Good communication and presentation skillsGood numeracy skills andExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Managing people Strong coordination and organizational skillsExperience in working in aigital environmentAttention to detail and willingness to learnAbility to collaborate effectively with different teamsExperience: 5–7 years (in a relevant managerial or supervisory role)
