Microwave Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Back Office Microwave (MW) Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Nokia microwave solutions to support configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of MW transmission networks. The role focuses on remote operations, fault handling, performance analysis, and SLA-driven support.ResponsibilitiesOperate and support Nokia microwave transmission networks from back office/NOC environmentProficient with Nokia Network Management Systems, including NetAct,NMS Evolution or NMS StudioAnalyze and resolve microwave-specific faults Link down/Degraded,High BER or fluctuating RSSI, ...etcConfiguration & Commissioning Able to remotely configure MW links ODU-IDU pairing, channel setup,IP/MPLS for MW linksExperience in remote preventive checks RSL drift over time ....etcTroubleshooting end-to-end connectivity Ethernet L2/L3 configuration,VLAN tagging, QoS, and OAMMaintaining accurate Incident reports and RCA ,Weekly/monthly availability reports and event trend analysisProtocols SNMP, SSH, Telnet, HTTP/HTTPS,Wireshark,T-BERD/EXFO,PathlosSoft Skills & Operational Requirements SLA management (incident, MTTR, availability targets)QualificationsStrong knowledge of microwave transmission fundamentals (LOS, frequency planning, link budgeting)Hands-on experience with Nokia Wavence solutionsExperience with Nokia network management tools: NetAct, NMS Evolution, NMS StudioSolid understanding of IP networking and MPLS over MW linksFamiliar with troubleshooting and test tools: Wireshark, T-BERD, EXFO, PathlossProtocol knowledge: SNMP, SSH, Telnet, HTTP/HTTPS
