Job Summary:The Class Teacher is responsible for leading classroom instruction, delivering age-appropriate educational activities, and ensuring the overall development, safety, and well-being of children in alignment with the nursery curriculum and standards.Responsibilities:Plan and deliver daily lesson plans according to the approved curriculumCreate a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environmentMonitor and assess children’s academic, social, and developmental progressMaintain classroom discipline and positive behavior managementPrepare educational materials and organize learning activitiesSupervise children during class, playtime, and transitionsCommunicate regularly with parents regarding progress and concernsCoordinate with Co-Teachers and Curriculum CoordinatorEnsure compliance with safety, hygiene, and child protection policiesMaintain accurate classroom records and reports Qualifications:To perform your job successfully, you need to have the following minimum requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or relevant field2–5 years of teaching experience in nursery or early years educationStrong classroom management skillsKnowledge of child development principlesGood communication and parent engagement skillsCreativity and ability to adapt teaching methodsAuthorities:Implement and manage classroom lesson plansSupervise children within assigned classRecommend academic or behavioral interventionsEscalate significant concerns to Nursery ManagementCoordinate classroom schedules within approved framework
