Job Purpose: The Marketing and Communications Officer supports the smooth and effective implementation of the program by coordinating day-to-day communications, outreach,marketing, and operational logistics. The role ensures timely, clear, and consistentengagement with partner banks, small medium enterprises (SMEs), trainers, and participants, while providing on ground and administrative support across all program activities. The role alsocontributes to program visibility, marketing efforts, participant management, andcommunication across program platforms and outreach channels.Core Responsibilities:Communication Strategy and Stakeholder Coordination:Coordinate day-to-day communication with partner banks, SMEs, trainers, and participants, including invitations, confirmations, reminders, materials, and updates.Support stakeholder engagement and participant application management in coordination with the program team and partner institutions.Serve as a key point of contact for logistical and scheduling-related inquiries from participants and trainers. Maintain organized records of communications and follow-ups.Marketing, Outreach and Program Visibility:Support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and communications activities to promote the program and ensure clear dissemination of program information.Prepare communication and marketing materials, including program announcements, presentations, briefing materials, and outreach content.Assist in disseminating program information across communication channels, including program portals, digital platforms, partner networks, and institutional communication channels.Coordinate closely with partner institutions regarding participant applications and support the management of the application process.Operational and Logistical Support:Support administrative, logistical, and operational arrangements for program activities, including trainings, workshops, and coaching sessions.Assist with venue arrangements, scheduling, coordination of materials, and preparation of session requirements.Provide on-ground operational support during program activities to ensure smooth execution.Support internal documentation and contribute to operational inputs for progress reports and internal reviews.Program Coordination and Process Improvement:Coordinate closely with the program team to ensure alignment between communications, logistics, and implementation timelines.Support troubleshooting of operational issues during program delivery and contribute to improving coordination and workflow processes.Additional Support:Perform other related duties as required.Qualifications:Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field is required.Five to Seven years of overall professional experience in communications, marketing, program coordination, or operations.Minimum of three years of experience in communications, outreach, marketing, or stakeholder engagement roles within development, training, or capacity-building programs.Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing event logistics is an asset.Experience supporting communication campaigns, participant recruitment, or program outreach initiatives is highly desirable.Skills:Communication and Marketing: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic; experience in preparing marketing and outreach materials.Coordination and Organization: High attention to detail and strong organizational and follow-up skills.Operational Support: Ability to manage logistics, scheduling, and documentation in a structured and efficient manner.Problem-Solving: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.Digital Platforms and Communication Tools: Experience managing communication across digital platforms, program portals, or online engagement tools is an asset.Professionalism: Reliability, responsiveness, teamwork, and commitment to high-quality program delivery.This position is open until May 7, 2026.Placement is based on the candidate’s experience and skills.
