Review and validate chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and oncology medication orders.Develop and optimize patient-specific treatment plans.Monitor therapy effectiveness and manage side effects or toxicities.Ensure safe preparation, handling, and administration of oncology medications.Enforce compliance with oncology guidelines and safety protocols.Educate patients and caregivers on medications and side effects.Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams.Participate in clinical rounds and tumor boards.Support clinical trials and research activities.Train and mentor pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals.Maintain accurate documentation and medication records. EducationBachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).Postgraduate qualification or residency in Oncology Pharmacy (preferred).CertificationsBoard Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) or equivalent (preferred).Valid pharmacist license/registration.Experience+2 years of experience in oncology pharmacy or hospital pharmacy setting.Experience with chemotherapy preparation and oncology protocols.
