The role is responsible for preparing and processing payroll on a regular cycle, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation, benefits, and deductions. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining payroll records, calculating wages, overtime, and bonuses, and handling payroll inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner. The Payroll Specialist will review and apply relevant tax regulations, manage garnishments, and coordinate with HR and Finance to ensure alignment between payroll data, personnel changes, and company policies. The role also involves generating payroll reports, supporting audits, and contributing to continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems.Qualifications Strong skills in Payroll Administration and Payroll Processing, with the ability to manage end-to-end payroll cycles accurately and on schedule.Experience handling Payroll Taxes and Garnishments, including compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Knowledge of Payroll Services and related systems or software, with the ability to troubleshoot payroll issues and improve workflows.Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools, with attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain payroll matters clearly and maintain confidentiality.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with HR and Finance teams and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Previous experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar finance or HR role; experience in the automotive or industrial sector is an advantage.Relevant academic background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
