Job description:We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Plant Logistics Manager to lead end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations at our manufacturing site in Giza.In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive production & materials planning, optimize raw material warehouse and logistics operations, and ensure seamless material flow - balancing cost, service, and quality performance. You will play a key role in strengthening operational excellence through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities Lead the development of monthly and daily production plans, aligned with S&OP inputs, capacity constraints, and supplier capabilities. Define and drive materials requirements planning (MRP/DRP) to ensure optimal supply availability. Oversee inbound logistics operations, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and availability of raw materials and components. Manage internal logistics and raw material and WIP warehouse operations, ensuring stock accuracy, efficient material handling, and inventory control. Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies to balance availability and working capital efficiency. Monitor supplier delivery performance, proactively mitigating risks in close collaboration with Procurement and Production. Define and track logistics KPIs (safety, service levels, inventory accuracy, productivity, availability). Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics performance, warehouse efficiency, and material flow. Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver plant performance and operational excellence targets. Actively contribute to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Champion a strong health, safety, and environmental (HSE) culture within logistics operations. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering capability growth and engagement. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or MBA is a strong plus. Minimum 10+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management within an industrial environment. Proven expertise in: Production & material planning, Warehouse operations & inventory management and ERP/WMS implementation and optimization. Strong experience managing operational teams in manufacturing environments. Solid understanding of ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) and logistics KPIs Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities. Fluency in Arabic and English.
