QA Engineer

The QA Engineer will be responsible for testing the software and applications that are developed by our organization. This role requires a qualified candidate with a strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to ensure delivery of high-quality products to our customers. ResponsibilitiesEstimating testing efforts for the projects and CRs.Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.Designing and developing test scripts, and checklists to verify product functionality according to the user’s requirements.Testing the web services and APIs.Testing software releases by executing assigned tests (manual and/or automated).Reporting any findings/defects that appear during the testing and validate closing any issues regarding testing.Building automation frameworks, and scripts for web and mobile applications.Executing performance/stress testing.Liaise with internal teams (e.g., project managers, analysts, developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.Stay up to date with the new testing tools and test techniques.Research and learn new tools, technologies, and testing processes.QualificationsDegree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science.1-2 years relevant experience.Must Have: Software Engineering, Software Life cycle, Testing fundamentals and concepts, manual testing, Databases/SQL, test automation, API testing, and Java development.Advanced Skills: Card processing business domain, Agile, ISTQB Certificate, and performance testing. Fintech previous experience.
