Job PurposeAbout the job Quality Assurance EngineerTo ensure that all projects and operations meet defined quality standards and regulatory requirements by implementing quality assurance processes, conducting audits and inspections, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.Duties & RESPONSIBILITIESFunctional Responsibilities Support the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001Ensure all processes, procedures, and work instructions are documented, controlled, and effectively communicatedContribute to IMS certification, surveillance, and recertification auditsMap and review business processes to ensure efficiency and consistencyDevelop and implement QA plans and quality control proceduresMonitor process performance against KPIs, SLAs, and defined quality benchmarksDevelop and maintain quality dashboards and reportsPlan and conduct internal audits in accordance with ISO 19011Participate in external audits, client inspections, and regulatory assessmentsIdentify non-conformities and ensure timely closure through corrective actionsManage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure proper documentation and trackingLead root cause analysis using structured methodologies (e.g., 5-Why, Fishbone, ICAM)Implement and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)Map, review, and optimize business and operational processesIdentify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and recommend improvement actionsDrive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)Develop and maintain quality dashboards, KPIs, and performance reportsAnalyze trends, recurring issues, and process deviations to support decision-makingEnsure proper document control for all quality-related documentsMaintain accurate records of audits, inspections, NCRs, and CAPA actionsEnsure traceability of materials, processes, and deliverables where applicableCollaborate with engineering, operations, procurement, and project teams to embed quality requirementsInterface with clients, consultants, and contractors on quality-related mattersConduct regular quality audits on service interactions, processes, and outputsJob RequirementsEducationBachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline)Experience5–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, preferably in utilities, oil & gas, or construction sectors.LanguagesFluent in English (Written & Spoken).Required Competencies Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards (ISO 9001 & ISO 14001) Certified Internal Auditor (ISO) or experience in internal auditing practices Experience in audits, inspections, and managing CAPA Professional certifications (e.g., CQE, CQA) are a plus Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and projects Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
