Quality Control Chemist

Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with HSE standards and maintain a safe laboratory environment.Execute non-electrical testing and type tests according to SOPs and international standards.Supervise and maintain lab discipline across 24/7 operations (three shifts).Coordinate and review weekly testing plans aligned with production schedules.Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and support client / third-party inspections.Develop and implement sampling plans, SPC, and process control strategies.Analyze test results and conduct root cause analysis for failures and NCRs.Prepare detailed technical reports and quality documentation.Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, process optimization).Collaborate with cross-functional teams on New Product Development and design reviews.Provide technical training and guidance to lab team members.Assess manpower, testing timelines, and resource requirements for operational efficiency.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry2–4 years of experience in quality, laboratory testing, or manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of QA/QC principles and statistical analysis techniquesGood understanding of materials used in cable manufacturing (PVC, XLPE, metals, etc.)Experience with testing procedures, lab equipment, and international standards is preferred
