Quality Control Manager

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee inspection, testing, and release of finished products according to approved plans.Ensure execution of inspection test plans (ITP), type testing, and quality control processes.Manage non-conformities (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Ensure all testing and measuring equipment is calibrated and maintained.Develop and implement quality management strategies, plans, and KPIs aligned with business objectives.Establish and maintain quality systems, procedures, work instructions, and control plans across all operations.Ensure compliance with international standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.Act as the primary interface with customers on quality issues, audits, complaints, and inspections.Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and third-party inspections.Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders (Production, Engineering, Procurement, Sales) on quality matters.Drive Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, and 5S initiatives to improve process capability and reduce defects.Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.Monitor and improve KPIs (scrap, rework, FPY, customer complaints, etc.).Lead, mentor, and develop the quality control team across multiple shifts.Set performance objectives, conduct evaluations, and build team capabilities.Ensure proper resource planning, manpower allocation, and workload scheduling.Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.Evaluate risks and implement mitigation and contingency plans.Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and traceability of all quality activities.Qualifications & RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field10–15 years of experience in quality within manufacturing industriesProven experience in quality leadership or managerial roleExpertise in quality tools and methodologies (SPC, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA)Experience with customer audits, FAT, and regulatory complianceCertification in ISO 9001 / Six Sigma is highly preferred
