Research Officer

Commit to executing all assigned tasks, research, and studies with high quality within the specified timeframe.Collect and analyze various data, information, and indicators related to the economy, industry, trade, and investment from local and international sources, whether concerning a specific country or multiple countries/regions.Prepare country profiles, data sheets, and market intelligence reports.Develop high-quality reports and presentations that effectively reflect the required data using the latest tools and visualizations.Prepare SWOT analyses, benchmarking studies, and gap analyses.Draft and prepare concept notes, terms of reference, and other related documents as needed.Translate and summarize various reports.Follow up on requests and correspondence, and respond by gathering required information and drafting necessary communications and reports.Carry out all related contractual and financial transactions when required.Coordinate with relevant departments within the center when needed.Work towards achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and related objectives.Maintain an organized documentation and filing system.Perform any other related duties or assignments as required. A Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.4–5 years of experience in a relevant role.Proficiency in research tools and methodologies, including both quantitative and qualitative analysis.Practical experience in preparing presentations, report writing, and analyzing data and various indicators.Familiarity with the nature of the industrial sector in Egypt, as well as economic and industrial indicators.Strong work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines and fulfill assigned tasks.Ability to work professionally within a team, demonstrating the required level of cooperation, integrity, and transparency.Strong communication and report-writing skills.Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office and Oracle).Fluency in both Arabic and English.
