Is accountable for executing the delivery and installations of the overall AMI Solution utilizing various communication technologies as per the committed plan, scope and quality.Establish and support AMI delivery processes while providing customers and vendors with timely, accurate information and support required to meet project needs.Must have experience on electric and water meter communication protocols such as DLMS, IEC 625056-21, PLC, 2G/3G/4G, RS-485, Wired/Wireless M-Bus, NB-IoT, etc… Able to lead discussion with consultants and suppliers for AMI integration and connectivity to different meter types, interfaces and communication protocols.Undertaking technical reviews whilst providing technical guidance on technical standards.Studying proposals to meet the required technology.Studying and developing operating problems of the smart meters.Investigating and testing the smart meters, accessories, devices and the tools to verify their validity technically.Understanding of Head-End System operations, MDM and Meter-To-Cash Operations, with exposure to at least 1 or 2 HES.Apply in-depth, advanced knowledge and skills of specialized technical areas with understanding of external environment factors that may affect own specialist area.Perform gap analyses to identify delivery requirements for multiple streams of the project.Proactively, assesses constantly the potential on-site risks and implement mitigations to avoid the risk.Troubleshooting and investigation of failures utilizing cause analysis.Assignment and programming the smart meters and the customers meter cardsWorks closely with the Planning Manager to establish a two-way communication on providing inputs and getting the targeted rates of installations and successful communication as an outlook.Works closely with AMI Platform manager to ensure that the end to end solution requirements, communications and installation requirements are achieved and any risks/issues related to it are addressed on a timely manner to avoid delays.Continuous development of metering equipment maintenance programProvide expert advice, coaching and counseling to site supervisors/teams and implementation teams to further develop their understanding of specialized functions.Supports the team in issue resolution, and troubleshooting for any on-site issues.Monitor and manage the alerts of smart metersProviding technical support to the Project teams during testing and installation of meters and subsequent maintenance activitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with vendors whose support is critical to successful implementation.Reports and provides timely feedback regarding actual performance to goals, improvement opportunities, the program environment and management support requirements to meet targeted performance.Present daily /weekly / annually technical reports for operation, maintenance and connectivity.Visits the sites randomly to audit and personally validate the process and installations and quality, and thereby optimizing the process in an ongoing basis. Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Communication department).3-5 years’ experience in the same position.proficient in using Microsoft office.Experience with IoT Solutions and Smart Metering Technologies will be a great advantage.
