Sales Manager – IT Distribution (Egypt)Location: Cairo, EgyptDepartment: Sales / Channel DistributionReports To: Country Manager / Regional Sales DirectorJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead the growth and expansion of a leading global software portfolio within the Egyptian market through the IT distribution channel. The role will focus on developing partner relationships, driving revenue growth, expanding market coverage, and executing channel strategies across resellers, system integrators, and value-added partners.The ideal candidate should have strong experience in IT distribution, channel sales, software solutions, and partner ecosystem management within Egypt.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales Growth• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.• Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration across Egypt.• Build strong relationships with resellers, VARs, system integrators, consultants, and enterprise partners.• Drive partner recruitment and enablement initiatives to increase channel coverage.• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.• Manage and grow the existing partner ecosystem.• Conduct regular business reviews with channel partners.• Support partners in pipeline development, forecasting, and closing opportunities.• Collaborate with partners on joint business plans and go-to-market activities.• Ensure partners are aligned with vendor programs, certifications, and compliance requirements.Sales Operations & Forecasting• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.• Track KPIs, revenue performance, and partner productivity.• Work closely with internal teams including marketing, finance, operations, and technical support.• Maintain CRM updates and reporting discipline.Vendor & Stakeholder Management• Coordinate with regional vendor teams to align business objectives and growth plans.• Execute vendor-driven campaigns, promotions, and strategic initiatives.• Represent the company at industry events, partner meetings, and customer engagements.Team Collaboration• Support and mentor channel account managers and sales executives where applicable.• Promote a high-performance and customer-focused sales culture.Required Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or related field.• 5–10 years of experience in IT distribution, channel sales, or software sales.• Strong understanding of the Egyptian IT market and channel ecosystem.• Experience working with enterprise software, design software, infrastructure, or cloud solutions is preferred.• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.Preferred Skills• Strong network within the IT reseller and system integrator community in Egypt.• Ability to build business from the ground up in a developing market.• Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities.• Experience in vendor management and channel development.• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, and leadership capabilities.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)• Revenue and margin achievement• Partner acquisition and activation• Pipeline growth and forecast accuracy• Market expansion and customer acquisition• Partner engagement and retention• Vendor relationship effectivenessWhat We Offer• Competitive salary and performance-based incentives• Opportunity to build and lead a growing business in Egypt• Regional exposure within the Middle East market• Professional growth and development opportunities• Dynamic and collaborative work environment
