Job Purpose:We are seeking a highly experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our ERP Applications team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, ensuring seamless integration with business processes across the organization. The role demands strong functional expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.Key Responsibilities:SAP FI – Financial AccountingConfigure and maintain General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank AccountingManage period-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliation, depreciation runs, and financial statementsDefine the chart of accounts, financial statement versions, and document splitting configurationsSupport integration with SD, MM, and HR modules for financial postings and reconciliationSAP CO – ControllingDesign and configure Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product CostingSet up and maintain Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) for management reporting and margin analysisPerform planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities within the CO moduleManage allocation cycles, settlement rules, and cost distribution across controlling objectsImplementation & Project DeliveryParticipate in full-cycle SAP implementations: requirements gathering, blueprinting (BBP), configuration, testing, go-live, and post-go-live supportPrepare functional specifications for ABAP developments, custom reports, and enhancementsExecute unit testing, integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT)Conduct end-user training and prepare user manuals and training materialsSupport & OperationsProvide support for SAP FICO incidents and service requestsAnalyze and resolve production issues within agreed SLA timelinesMonitor system performance, identify process gaps, and recommend optimization solutionsMaintain system documentation, configuration guides, and change logsSecurity & Authorizations LeadServe as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP roles and authorizations. Must possess the expertise to design, audit, and architect complex authorization concepts, and actively guide the Basis team in implementing and maintaining the security matrix.Stakeholder CollaborationWork closely with Finance, Accounting, and Controlling business teams to understand and translate requirementsCoordinate with the BASIS team for transports, system landscape management, and upgradesLiaise with external vendors, system integrators, and audit teams as requiredQualifications & Requirements:EducationBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related fieldProfessional certification in SAP FI/CO (SAP Certified Application Associate) is strongly preferredCPA, CMA, or equivalent finance qualification is a plusExperience5 to 7 years of hands-on SAP FICO functional experienceMinimum 5 full end-to-end SAP implementation project cyclesExperience in SAP ECC 6.0 and/or SAP S/4HANA (on-premise or cloud)Exposure to SAP New GL, Document Splitting, and Parallel Ledger is highly desirableExperience in a manufacturing, contracting, construction, precast, retail, or financial services industry is preferredTechnical SkillsStrong configuration knowledge across: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, CCA, PCA, CO-PA, Product CostingFamiliarity with ABAP debugging and reading code for troubleshooting purposesExperience with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) or equivalent for project documentation and ITSMWorking knowledge of SAP Fiori apps and S/4HANA Finance capabilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced) for data analysis and reconciliationIf you are interested, please send your CV to career@daamservice.com, mentioning the job title in the subject line.
