Hassan Allam Construction is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer to join our dynamic team, a leading player in the construction industry. This site-based role is crucial for ensuring the effective management of commercial aspects on our construction projects, promoting cost efficiency, and maximizing profitability while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.Location: Ras EL-HekmaResponsibilities:Prepare and manage accurate project estimates, budgets, and financial forecasting.Carry out cost analysis for project works, including materials and labor costs.Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures to ensure adherence to budget.Prepare and submit interim and final payment applications and variations to clients.Conduct risk assessments and manage commercial risks associated with construction projects.Provide accurate and timely reporting on project financial performance and forecasts.Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to optimize project outcomes.Review and assess claims, disputes, and contractual variations effectively.Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors and assist in their professional development.Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial projects.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with clients and subcontractors.Experience in managing and mentoring junior staff is highly advantageous.
