Senior Cost Control Engineer

About the Company:Hassan Allam Construction is Seeking an experienced Senior Cost Control Engineer to lead and oversee cost management activities across projects, ensuring financial efficiency and alignment with organizational objectives. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to managing project budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization.Responsibilities:Lead the cost control function across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and financial targets.Develop and maintain detailed project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow forecasts.Monitor project expenditures, analyze cost variances, and provide accurate reporting to senior management.Review and validate subcontractor invoices, variations, and claims to ensure compliance and accuracy.Collaborate closely with project managers, procurement, and commercial teams to drive cost efficiency.Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies, including value engineering initiatives.Support tendering processes, including cost estimation, benchmarking, and bid analysis.Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal policies and audit requirements.Mentor and guide junior cost control engineers to enhance team performance.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cost control within construction, Contracting or infrastructure projects.Strong understanding of project financial management, cost reporting, and forecasting techniques.Proficiency in Excel and cost management/ERP systems.Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
